If you’re not familiar with Halogen’s Atlantic-Pacific line at Nordstrom, definitely check them out. I’d describe this line as Ralph Lauren meets quirky. It’s traditional and beautiful, but with really fun unexpected bits. Here’s the try on haul with the pieces that I picked out, plus a cute sweater outfit from Madewell. Sizing For reference, I’m 5′ 4 (and 1/2)” tall and about 128 lbs. I’m typically a 4 or small in dresses. Usually 4 or small in tops. Usually 6 in pants. *Everything I tried on this session fit TTS. Madewell Try On Haul Does this outfit say fall or what? Here’s another great Madewell sweater with blousson sleeves and I love the color block. The cut is the same as the maroon bobble sweater I showed you guys a few weeks ago, but this one is made from supersoft yarn. It’s light weight and soooo soft. This polka-dot sweater I showed you earlier is the same yarn. Size small. The pants are high waisted cropped cords and they have a good amount of stretch to them so they’re really comfortable. I actually love maroon and rust pants. It’s a nice alternative to the standard navy, black and brown, but they’re still fairly neutral. Size 6. Nordstrom Try On Haul Halogen Atlantic-Pacific Sweater & Plaid Pants The full length photo didn’t work out so we’ll have to make due with this one. I really love these pants and sweater. This outfit would be great for the office with a black, brown or white blazer. The pants (matching coat) have a very high waist and are very long. I would definitely have to get them hemmed (Nordy Club Members receive free basic alterations. You don’t have to have the credit card). These aren’t lined. Also comes in this pretty plaid and this gorgeous navy solid and a cropped length variation. Wearing size 6. The sweater comes in a number of colors and is great for under jackets or to tuck into pants. It’s 30% wool so if you dislike wool, you may want to pass on this one. I personally love wool because it’s nice and warm and I think the sweater is still soft. It also comes in pretty metalic solids and stripe. Wearing a small. The “IT” Pants: Faux Leather Cropped Wow, everybody wants these pants. If you can find these cropped faux leather pants (navy), grab them because they just keep flying off the shelves. I’ve seen more come in at Nordstrom a few times, but they disappear right away. They come in black, brown and navy and currently, there are only couple sizes available. These are very stretchy and comfortable. I couldn’t get a 6 so these are an 8. The 6 would have been better, but there is so much stretch that either would work. This pair is very similar and just as nice and also fits TTS. These keep selling out also, but not quite as much as the Hallogen pants that I’m wearing in the photo. I’ve tried to find other similar alternatives. Each is different in it’s own way. Striped Turtleneck I’m so glad to see that Turtlenecks are enjoying a moment again this year and so are textured knits. I love the color combination in this one. It’s part wool just like the short sleeve sweater and nice and thick. It also comes in a beautiful cream and baby blue and red stripe (sounds weird, but it’s really pretty and would look great with jeans). I’m wearing a small.
